Scientists have long questioned the nature of consciousness and puzzled over its source.
Is consciousness generated within the brain? Does a larger brain generate more consciousness than a smaller brain? This would certainly explain the behavior of liberals. OK, so if consciousness is created by the brain, where exactly in the brain would that area be located? Perhaps a few neurons over from where you keep the pass code to your basement weapons safe? Or as far as possible from those memories of reading your first Playboy magazine while sitting in the back row at Sunday school? Truth be told, scientists haven't gotten any farther figuring this out than our ancient ancestors did when they pointed to the stars in a moment of self-awareness and asked themselves, "Gee, could that be a guy's belt right there?" Physicists now question (and not just the ones toking ganja) whether consciousness might not in fact reside outside of the brain as a universal field of consciousness that permeates the entire universe. Under this theory, consciousness propagates on all possible wavelengths at the same time throughout the entire universe, while each of us humans receives just a tiny bandwidth of this vast spectrum of consciousness, thereby creating our own personal brand of awareness. This actually makes sense when you stop to think about it. After all, electromagnetic radio waves from dozens of radio shows -- from Bible belt talk radio show to 70's retro Hispanic disco music -- are passing through your body right this second. Are you aware of these? No, but that's because your brain doesn't receive on conventional radio broadcast frequencies. What if your brain does receive on your own unique and personal consciousness frequency? That would make your personal sense of awareness unique to you. This could also explain the dysfunctional behavior of some people we all know (think: extended family...) who appear to be suffering from static interference? Or maybe they just have a twisted antenna. We D(o)nutarians have always known the truth of this, passed down as esoteric knowledge from the earliest space-faring D(o)nauts. Yes, our ancestors possessed the advanced technology to travel to the stars, meet His Holey-ness and receive divine wisdom and understanding. Unfortunately, the Great Flood of 13,000 years ago (a scientific fact) wiped out all traces of early D(o)nutaria and required us to start all over again. Hence, the birth of this website. BTW, the theory of Universal Consciousness also explains belief in organized religions. They're just the paid commercials playing on your station. |
